Polli Studio


We're happily settled into our new studio in Stanmore now.



It's a good creative space, with lots of natural light and some friendly four legged neighbours.

Hobart pop in

While on a trip down to Tassie I dropped into some Polli stockist. It was great to see the beautiful stores and the great products they stock! It was hard not to shop at every stop!
Inside on Murray St has a wide range of textiles, ceramics and jewellery. All the products are put together with a well styled eye. This is a real gem in Hobart.


Inside has a great kids section. So much fun!



Roses Cupboard on Macquarie Street South Hobart, has a lovely homely feel, with lots of jewellery, ceramics, shoes + a great view of Mt Wellington (above)
Hobart has a lot to do a see... well worth a visit.

New Studio



We've just finished setting up our new studio in Stanmore and we're exhausted!

Starkey's Ginger Beer

Ingredients:
6 L water
1.5 tsp yeast
1.3 tsp tartaric acid
500 grams white sugar
1.3 tsp cream of tartar
1.5 tbs ground ginger (or 4cm fresh grated ginger)
1 x egg white and Shell of one egg (crazy but true)

You will also need: 1 x Large very clean bucket or very large pot (to hold over 6L); 1 x Strainer; 11 x 600mL bottles or 5 x 1.25L bottles. Wash and reuse bottles that were from carbonated drinks (bottle made for non-carbonated drinks will not work)

Mix all ingredients in a bucket, l
et stand for 3 hours, strain and bottle,
leave for 3-5 days or until you can’t squeeze the bottles (this means there are enough bubbles), place in fridge, chill and pour into a glass, garnish with mint (optional) and drink.
