MCA, Chicago

While on the road we visited Chicago for the first time. The locals called it a 'warm' -5 degree day! We popped into the Museum of Contemporary Art, they were in between exhibitions but we got to check out the amazing stairs and impressive two level store! It's a really international store featuring products from around the globe and great Kid Robot collection.

MCA - 220 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago

Loom, Brooklyn

While out and about we also popped in to visit Susan at Loom in Park Slope - she's got a beautiful mix of fashion, stationery and toys for the little ones...

Exit 9, Brooklyn

Exit 9 is a great store in Brooklyn with an extensive range of gifts for all ages. We love the vintage fridge display, tree house books and cute cuddly friends. The new Polli range will be in store soon.

Exit 9 - 127 Smith Street, Brooklyn + 64 Avenue A, Manhattan

Diner, Brooklyn

While in Williamsburg Brooklyn we visited the unassuming Diner. Hard to find it was worth braving the cold for the old school carriage style interior and delicious burgers!

Diner - 85 Broadway Brooklyn NY

New York International Gift Show

Polli's new range was launched at the New York International Gift Show last week. It was great to catch up with some of our US customers and work alongside our new team member, Kate Williams, who is now based in New York. We also got a chance to meet our biggest fan (and potential stalker) - Roger. ;)

Tuesday Designs

We have fallen in love with the beautiful work of Taryn and Elise at Tuesday Designs. Their works on paper use embossing to create detailed 'white on white' imagery which sets the scene for their vintage fabric characters. The vibrant colour of the fabric stands out against the subtle white background as if a spotlight is bringing one section to life. The texture of the fabric and paper is so tactile you'll be pawing at your screen!

Each illustration is unique through the variety and individuality of the fabrics selected. Works start at $410 measuring 340 x 430mm
