In New York we also came across Pillow Pillow Pillow - they do THE cutest range of dog illustrated totes and pillows. One of the more popular designs is the 'weener dog'. They even have a casting call link on their site for new doggy talent - as yet they don't feature a Kelpie so Alfie might be in luck!

Perch! Brooklyn, NY

In New York we met Amy Adams of Perch! She designs and makes these beautiful ceramic vessels in Brooklyn. Our favorites included the bird feeder (below), vases and bowls. Check out her site.

Pool art book

Polli was featured in the Pool art book thanks to the creative work of Phil Rose... thanks baby!

Pool Trade Show

Polli was well received at the Pool Trade Show, Las Vegas. As designers this was our first time at a fashion show and were surprised by the creativity on the floor both with the booths and the venue – nonstop music, live t-shirt screen printing and free tattoos (of the permanent kind!).

Pool Trade Show, LV

We have hit Las Vegas! The Pool Trade Show opens here tomorrow and runs through to Wednesday. Check out their site for some great videos on the show. We'll post some booth photos after set up today.

Gimme Coffee NY

After spending 8 nights in NY without any luck in the coffee department on our last day we found Gimme Coffee, this is the best coffee we have sampled in NY. The cup was the right size (small) the milk was textured and the temperature perfect for drinking. Go to 228 Mott St.

NYC Summer Streets

During August New York City has closed it's main streets to cars on Saturday mornings. Opening them to walkers, cyclist, roller bladers, skate boarders... even yoga on the medium strips! This was a great opportunity to explore Manhattan so we got up early and jumped on some bikes. We rode the round trip from SOHO to Central Park.


On our way we met some interesting characters and got some serious bike envy.

NY Gift Fair

The Polli stand at the New York International Gift Show opens today, we'll be there from Sunday through to Thursday. Our stand number is 8513, drop by if your at the show to say hi to Tess and Maja.

Melbourne Visit

While in Melbourne we got the chance to visit some of the Polli stockists.

One of the stores was Arbor Redux Sparta Place, Sydney Rd Brunswick. This is a cute little jewellery store with a difference. Gretta has a natural eye for unique products. She has fitted out her store with recycled window frames for display cabinets and fantastic old school counters.

We also went to visit Tanya and Jacqulin at Belki, 631 Rathdowne Street, Carlton North. We were very impressed with the bags (Tess bought 2) and the hand cream. Belki is a stunning store with lots of interesting products, it's well worth a visit.

Polli at LIS

Polli launched its new range of Jewellery, Tea Light Shades and Christmas Decorations at Life in Style in Melbourne. We had a great time with our neighbours Shelley and James from Mud, Kim and Tony from Mushu and Nell from Nell.

Kew Gardens

We are very excited to announce that Polli is now stocked in the beautiful Kew Gardens store.

Lost and Found

While walking along St Georges road in North Fitzroy, we came across a lost cube earring, if you have lost this earring in that area please email us and we'll send it to be reunited with its pair.
